I used to tell the "Roy Rogers" joke back in the late 60's , early '70's. Bob thought it was a riot and I still remember his laugh. I wearied of telling the joke, in general, but when I saw Bob he would encourage me to retell it. I would always do it because I loved the way he laughed. We lost touch over the years but I never forgot Bob, his laugh and his kind soul. So, Bob, if you run into old Roy , please ask him: "Pardon me Roy ,is that the catwhochewedyournewshoes ? "
