We always had a lot of fun with the Zimecki’s. Even though we only saw them once or twice a year when the kids were young, it was always a great time. I will always remember the time we all went to Fenwick Island, Delaware for a week long vacation in 1987. A small house filled with four kids (under the age of 6) and five adults. Sun and fun at the beach, crabbing in the bay, go carts across the street and also a trip to the Ocean City boardwalk. Then there are the memories of the 4th of July parties down in Herndon. Paper bags spread across a picnic table filled with crabs, cooked with Old Bay seasoning. And then there was Billy-well what can you say about Billy? Oh yea, and who was it that broke the basement window across the street with the giant water balloon sling shot?? No worries, Bob would talk to them when they got back from vacation. Maybe he could fix it in the meantime and no one would ever know. And why did you get pulled over by the Louden County police??? You were just looking at those deer, weren’t you?? Beer, what beer?? Lots and lots of laughs. Looking back at family pictures from our famous Memorial Day get togethers, I noticed something. Bob and John were in very few of those pictures. WHY??? Because they were always off somewhere fishing. The only pictures we do have of them are with their “catch of the day”. And if they weren’t off fishing, they were down at the Beaver Pond with Biscuit and Beau watching them chase after Jason’s remote control boat. These and many other memories will live on in our hearts forever. We love you and we’ll miss you Bob. WHAT ABOUT BOB?!? He always made you laugh - ALWAYS!!!
